Fluid Control
TORQ has inherited the Inertia Wheels’ SOC Award Winning digital mass and drag, so you can simply touch TORQ to pan, tilt and roll—exactly like a fluid head. And thanks to the modularity of the software, you can even do dual mode, where certain axes are remotely controlled, while others are directly controlled.
And, coming soon, a world first, stabilized fluid head mode, where you can operate directly, while the motors actively stabilize the payload.
Gyro Control
TORQ offers Mimic-like or Force-Pro-like gyro control using the new TAMBR over IP protocol.
NODO’s new GYRO CTRL, a companion app to NODO TORQ designed for ultra-low-latency, motion-driven control of TORQ.
While TORQ supports Bluetooth and Ethernet for configuration, monitoring, and control, GYRO CTRL is purpose-built for one thing: real-time gyro control with maximum signal integrity. For that reason, GYRO CTRL operates exclusively over IP, eliminating Bluetooth latency, packet jitter, and connection ambiguity. When paired with a wireless IP solution, it works tremendously well over long distances.

Control TORQ with NODO’s Inertia Wheels™, Ignite Digi’s Control Deck, or any SKAARHOJ panel. These options have excellent wireless range up to and exceeding 1 mile or hardwire control using our Ethernet Injector.
Additionally, control one or many TORQ’s using another set of Inertia Motors as a pan bar. Not just another gyro mimic but motor to motor accuracy at very low latency.
And/or support other 3rd party controllers or design your own UI using NODO’s API.
